Is this guy for real?

Dave Nabity tried to blame Governor Dave Heineman for the OPS situation because of his 'lack of leadership.' Is this Nabity guy for real? Lack of leadership, give me a break.

"I knew it was not possible to bring reconciliation and cooperation between the two groups because they're on opposite ends," said Nabity, one of three Republicans running for governor.

Yeah, so since when has 'not trying' become a better form of leadership Mr Nabity? And his comments above tell me that he thinks these negotiations are over.

Nabity said if he were governor, he would not try to broker a deal. Rather, he would bring in outside auditors to review the state's entire education system and look for ways to reduce property taxes.

Let me translate: As Governor, Nabity would side step the issue and waste Nebraska's tax money on auditors. Auditors aren't a solution to this situation. we don't need a full scale overhaul of the Nebraska Educational system to deal with the OPS issue. This comment also makes me think that Nabity thinks we're morons and that if he sticks phrases of I'm going to lower taxes into his speeches we'll vote for him.

He said he would implement a five-point education plan, which includes giving parents more control over education, letting teachers teach and getting schools to partner with nonprofits.

Still not a solution to the OPS situation.

When asked how his five-point plan would resolve the boundary dispute between OPS and its neighbors, Nabity said that if the governor had had a long-term plan for education, the dispute could have been averted.

Nice job dodging that question!

Huh? Long term plan? The guy is an interm Governor, twit. No interm President, Senator, Governor, or Coach is going to have a long term plan for anything. And besides the guy just took the office a few months ago, how could he implement a long term plan to fix this issue?

This guy has no other way to get media so he resorts to weak accusations against Heineman.

I can assure you as Governor, Heineman will have a better Education plan than Dave Nabity's "keep me out of it and start hiring auditors" garbage.
